This platform’s slippage hurt me badly. At exactly 10:00 on 30 July the market was calm, yet both my buy and sell orders slipped 5 points. My sell order was a limit order and it was filled early. Other platforms showed nothing like that spread. Customer service first blamed my network, then called it an “industry standard”. When I asked for the liquidity data at that moment, they could not produce it. A fixed pattern of slippage like this looks like manipulation in the back office.
I have traded on this platform for three months and the first few withdrawals of a few hundred dollars went through normally. Last week my account reached USD 1,288 and I wanted to withdraw it to pay rent, but the platform suddenly demanded “advanced verification”. I had already uploaded my ID and bank card; every time I ask, customer service says it is “under review” and goes silent when asked for a timeline. Yesterday I found my account had been switched to “risk control” status and I can no longer even trade. This is clearly an excuse to keep my money.

I am an ordinary investor and opened an FXGT account on 26 July 2024, believing the platform was legitimate. A few days later I had made several successful trades and earned a profit of USD 1,150. When I tried to withdraw it, the platform without warning deducted all the funds in my MT5 account and even deleted all trade records and my user ID. Worse, it accused me of fraudulent behaviour, ignoring the facts. This destroyed my trust in the platform. Is your MT5 server made of paper? On Monday evening I was trading gold and could have closed at a profit at 2936, but the platform froze for four minutes. By the time I could act the price had jumped to 2940, wiping out USD 1,910 of profit. The technical reply was the most absurd part: they deny any server fault (even though every instrument was frozen from 11:38 to 11:42), refuse to provide the server logs for that period, and even implied I “should have set a take-profit in advance”.
Prices manipulated in the back office — I was nearly liquidated
I placed a buy order at 2461 in advance with a stop-loss at 2459. After the data release the order should have filled at 2461 but slipped to 2470.4. The 2459 stop-loss was useless and I was stopped out at a loss.
I have reported the slippage problem six times and the platform just fobs me off. Last week it happened again; I took screenshots and filed a complaint, and customer service replied that it had been “passed to the technical department” — then nothing. The next day the same slippage happened again. When I asked why it was never fixed, they suggested I “adjust my trading strategy”. Slippage is clearly the platform’s problem, so why should I bear the loss?
